If you don’t take care of your body where are you going to live?
Are you looking for a real lasting change in your health and wellness? There are no fad, quick fix diets out there…trust me I have seen it time and time again. You need to give your body time to get back to where it once was.
In order to make lasting change, you need to address the underlying subconscious beliefs driving you. Although you know you’d like to be strong, fit and healthy, all the willpower in the world won’t override deeply stored beliefs and programming forever.
I’ve learned a lot of methods to help change these beliefs and make some lasting changes.
Here are a few…
1. Practice self love everyday. Talk to yourself as though you are talking to a loved one…”I love and appreciate you, so I’m going to nourish you and protect you so we can work together to create a better life.”
2. Mind your words. The words you choose to say to yourself and the world make more difference than you can imagine. Try replacing these words…
I hope, I’ll try —> I choose to, I will
I should, I shouldn’t —> I could, I don’t need to
I’m on a diet —> I’m making healthier choices
I can’t eat that —> I choose not to eat that
Exercise —> Movement
3. Make movement FUN. Get a group of friends or work colleagues to join in a healthy challenge, hire a personal trainer that knows what you need and the way to work with you to get the best results, and do things you enjoy.
