Start your day with a grateful heart Mama’s!
I am so excited to talk to you about gratitude. I have been practicing gratitude now for about 3 months. I typically do it first thing in the morning because I find that it grounds me. But it can be done any time throughout the day or before bed.
As mom’s we usually wake up with our list already rolling around in our heads. It took me sometime to quite my mind from my “to do” list, but now that I have I couldn’t imagine starting my day any other way.
Gratitude is basically giving thanks for everything that you have already in your life. I know what your thinking I do say thank you and yes I am thankful for what I have but in order for it to come back to you in abundance you need to give more than that. Its really important that when you wake you start your day in this way.
Mom’s I get it, we are busy but this simple “thing” can make the world of a difference in your day.
There are so many ways that you can apply this simple task maybe while your having your morning coffee or getting ready for work. Put a sticky on your mirror or coffee maker to remind you until it becomes a habit. Then say three things to yourself that you are thankful for
- I am grateful for my family and their health
- I am grateful for my morning coffee
- I am grateful for this day!
With this attitude first thing in the morning who knows what the day may bring.
So today pick three things that you are thankful for right at this present moment…
